The use of a wrong and inappropriate color combination can spoil the overall impression of a website. It reduces the number of targeted customers for a company. It is not hard to hire a professional Web design company and get a high standard website designed. Some web designers use the wrong color at the wrong places. This diverts the attention of the online customers and they are less likely to place an order. For instance, if a diverse range of colors is used for headline and sub headline, the user may get irritated. A high standard web designer uses dark blue or black for the main heading and light blue or gray for the sub heading. In addition to that, black text on a light background is the best color combination to attain customer attention.
White text is most visible on a black background as both the colors are opposite in terms of shades. If this color combination is used, the audience is most likely to read what you want them to. A particular part of the content may be highly important in a web page. If you want the audience to read, highlight it with a bright color or bold the font. A high standard Web design company uses the same strategy in most of its websites. You should remember that the audience would only pay attention to a particular piece of content if it appears different from the rest of the content.
If you want your visitor to click a hyperlink and navigate to the desired page, use a catchy color for the font. Apart from that, use blinking effect. The audience will notice the text immediately and click on it. There are several Web design companies which create websites according to the requirements of the customer. If you want people to visit your web page and place orders regularly, you need to use the right colors and font styles. Sharp colors are very irritating. For the body of the web page, 12 is the most acceptable text size. In addition to that, Times New Roman is the most acceptable text style. If the right color scheme and text style is not used, the number of visitors and conversion decreases irrespective of how good the content is. Some web designers use large size fonts to get the attention of the users. This looks amateur and creates a negative impact on the visitors.

Graphic designing is a profession where the raw material is creativity and the output is art. Calculating the work done in terms of money most of the times becomes an arguable issue. The fiscal calculations of a project depend on many aspects, though rough but different standards are established for various types of graphic designing.
Web site designing costs can be broken down to depending on the type of site, wherein sites are classified as low end, mid range and high-end sites. A low site offers a 2-4 pages content and uses existing graphical themes or sock graphics are purchased. The designing package does not provide any animation page or any database interaction feature. The standard rates of such low-end site range approximately from $500 – $2000. On the other hand a mid range website costs approximately $2000 – $ 5000. The website includes 5-7 pages of content out of which some is developed. In addition, the designer provides with 2-4 original graphics and a standard layout with some customization. Animation includes JavaScript mouse over changes but data interactions are not provided. A high-end website involves a high cost and the standards range from $5000 – $10,000. A designer provides 12 or more pages of content, or even contents that are pragmatically/dynamically generated. The design has a unique layout and extensive graphics with navigation schemes. The animation is often done in JavaScript, Animated GIFs, Dynamic HTML, and Flash. In addition, designers also provide with SQL or Flat File database interaction.
The services of most graphic designers can also be calculated in hours. For instance the standard rates for basic graphic design are approximately $ 80 per hour, for custom graphic design $160 per hour, for 3-D graphic design $250 per hour, and for prepress correction and graphic adjustments $ 80 per hour. Such types of calculation have greatly simplified the rate and cost problems of designing projects, as the designer is getting paid rationally if a certain project requires more time. Similarly, a client can give work in contracts that are based on hours.

Here is the rundown of our interior design trend predictions for 2010 and beyond.
Natural Materials – Solid wood floors have been popular for a number of years now and it’s no surprise that this is a trend that will continue into 2010. Natural materials will become more popular in other areas of the home too. Think solid wood furniture and accessories instead of glass, plastic or metal, preferably wood which shows off the grain with some previously less popular woods being king such as mango, sheesham or acacia. Even good old pine will make a comeback. Natural stone is also in.
Classic Vintage Looks – Minimalistic hard lines are out to be replaced with rustic country or vintage style. Look out for shag pile or animal skin rugs, Chesterfield sofas, antique and eastern influenced rustic furniture and printed fabrics and wall coverings. Perfection is out, warmth and comfort is in.
Green – This year’s colour will be green in all its guises. Teals and turquoises are definitely hot and bold floral prints will be popular. Mix with creams and off-whites for a classic colour combination. Alternatively, mix light teals with splashes of bold accent colours such as purples or oranges.
Green, again – We’ve already mentioned the colour but this time we mean “eco-friendly”. Sustainable is no longer for eco-mentalists and some great sustainable products this way come. Look out for sustainable wood items such as bamboo and mango wood. Recycled items are also really hot, especially recycled or repurposed furniture and accessories, craft pieces and second-hand items given a new lease of life. Not so much recycled tin cans, more repainted or re-upholstered classic pieces and inventive use of materials.
Staying in – Since the recent economic downturn, more and more people have been deciding upon entertaining at home as opposed to going out. This trend will continue throughout 2010 and beyond. Comfortable, stylish designs are a must if you’re entertaining at home and nothing creates a talking point like a stylishly repurposed item. Now is the time to dig out that old Chesterfield sofa and recover it in printed fabric or repaint that old battered coffee table. Get creative with ideas. This summer will be big for outdoor entertaining, weather permitting, and the same design trends will be popular outdoors as well as in such as chunky solid wooden garden furniture, eastern influenced planting and repurposed items.
As with all trend predictions, they are just that, a prediction. We’re not saying that you should rush out and buy everything on our list, these are just a list of items we think will be popular this year. Just be sure to make your home your own and decorate it the way you prefer. After all, you’re the person who’ll be living in it and what’s the point in spending time decorating your own home in a way you don’t like?
